I have bible verses on desk that help strengthen me throughout the day, well, I got a message from a co-worker that sits at my desk on 3rd shift that he has been inspired with these that he is going to give God another chance. I know the way that sounds, but that was the words. The one verse that stuck out is John 10:10 which most of you know, "The thief's purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. My God purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life." You never know what God will use to get to a person's heart. This is awesome this is day 2 for great morning surprises that will make my day go great.

Blogging a thing of the past.

I have noticed lately that most bloggers aren't blogging anymore, myself included. Someone at work sent this to me.
Subject: The Red Sea

PARTING OF THE RED SEA :

Chariot Wheels found at the bottom of the Red Sea

You will be surprised to see proof of Pharaoh's chariot and bones of horses and men found in the Red Sea . Evidence of the crossing of the Red Sea , Pharaoh's drowned army.

Confirmation of the actual Exodus route has come from divers finding coral-encrusted bones and chariot remains in the Gulf of Aqaba . ONE of the most dramatic records of Divine intervention in history is the account of the Hebrews' exodus from Egypt .

The subsequent drowning of the entire Egyptian army in the Red Sea was not an insignificant event, and confirmation of this event is compelling evidence that the Biblical narrative is truly authentic. Over the years, many divers have searched the Gulf of Suez in vain for artifacts to verify the Biblical account. But carefully following the Biblical and historical records of the Exodus brings you to Nuweiba, a large beach in the Gulf of Aqaba , as Ron Wyatt discovered in 1978.

Repeated dives in depths ranging from 60 to 200 feet deep (18m to 60m), over a stretch of almost 2.5 km, has shown that the chariot parts are scattered across the sea bed. Artifacts found include wheels, chariot bodies, as well as human and horse bones. Divers have located on the Saudi coastline opposite Nuweiba as well.

Since 1987, Ron Wyatt found three four-spoke gilded chariot wheels. Coral does not grow on gold hence the shape has remained very distinct, although the wood inside the gold veneer has disintegrated making them too fragile to move.

The hope for future expeditions is to explore the deeper waters with remote cameras or mini-subs. Mute witness to the miracle of the crossing of the Red Sea by the Hebrews 3,500 years ago. Found with a metal detector, Coral-encrusted chariot wheel, filmed off the Saudi coastline,
matches chariot wheels found in Tutankhamen's tomb.

Mineralized bone, one of many found at the crossing site (above center). This one tested by the Department of Osteology at Stockholm University , was found to be a human femur, from the right leg of a 165-170cm tall man. It is essentially 'fossilized, ' i.e., replaced by minerals and coral, hence cannot be dated by radiocarbon methods, although this specimen was obviously from antiquity.. Chariot wheel and axle covered with coral and up-ended. Exodus 14:25 'And took off their chariot wheels, that they drove them heavily...'

Solomon's memorial pillars.
When Ron Wyatt first visited Nuweiba in 1978, he found a Phoenician style column lying in the water. Unfortunately the inscriptions had been eroded away, hence the column's importance was not understood until 1984 when a second granite column was found on the Saudi coastline opposite -- identical to the first except on this one the inscription was still intact!

In Phoenician letters (Archaic Hebrew), it contained the words: Mizraim (Egypt); Solomon; Edom ; death; Pharaoh; Moses; and Yahweh, indicating that King Solomon had set up these columns as a memorial to the miracle of the crossing of the sea. Saudi Arabia does not admit tourists, and perhaps fearing unauthorized visitors, the Saudi Authorities have since removed this column, and replaced it with a flag marker where it once stood.

How deep is the water?
The Gulf of Aqaba is very deep, in places over a mile (1,600m) deep. Even with the sea dried up, walking across would be difficult due to the steep grade down the sides. But, there is one spot where if the water were removed it would be an easy descent for people and animals. This is the line between Nuweiba and the opposite shore in Saudi Arabia .

Depth-sounding expeditions have revealed a smooth, gentle slope descending from Nuweiba out into the Gulf. This shows up almost like a pathway on depth-recording equipment, confirming it's Biblical description, '...a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters.' (Isaiah 43:16)

The Bible writers frequently refer to the miracle of the Red Sea crossing, for it was an event which finds no equal in history. The Hebrew prophets describe the sea at the crossing site as '...the waters of the great deep...the depths of the sea...' (Isaiah 51:10)

Knowing the exact spot to which the Bible writers were referring, what is the depth there? The distance between Nuweiba and where artifacts have been found on Saudi coast is about 18km (11 miles).

Along this line, the deepest point is about 800m (2,600 feet). No wonder that inspired writers of the Bible described it as the mighty waters. And no wonder that not a single Egyptian survived when the water collapsed in upon them. (Above NUWEIBA BEACH- the spot where the crossing began)
God's Word once again confirmed!

you can see some pictures at http://www.arkdiscovery.com/red_sea_crossing.htm

Happy Father's Day!!!

Wishing ALL the great Dad's out there Happy Father's Day, especially my Daddy. It was a day of food, fun, fishing, and not in that order. It was great fellowship for everyone. We all had a blast. Thanks to Jack and Randy for finding this place, it was amazing.
But the catch of the day was not a fish but as you see in the picture, Nathan Upton killed this water moccasin on the spill way with a rock. There were two but he could only get to this one. I took this for his mother so she could see what great hunter he was. Who needs gun, shovel, hoe, when you have a big rock!

Happy Birthday!!!!

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_KXe7mBoZRvI/Sik49d1Mr2I/AAAAAAAAAFw/G-Pm9-86KXU/s320/Tony%26Bel+Valentine.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5343865061482737506" />
To the most wonderful man in the world my best friend, Tony Maxwell. Its amazing and awesome. God is giving these parents a very special gift and I know they ALL will be great parents, some already are and the others this will be their first. Babies are so great, they can make a person feel so good, by just holding their tiny bodies against yours knowing that some day this child is going to be an adult and what will they be. Knowing some of these parents these children will be the next generation of God Warriors. Congrats to all the parents expecting. It was so fun, they come and get them and they literally get everyone's attention around and read off these "charges" and haul them to jail. They asked me what lesson I wanted him to learn and told them that Mom is #1 and always will be. To get out of jail he had to sing "I'm a Little Tea Pot" in front of a crowd. She was the first to wear one, and sold poppies to her friends and co-workers with the money going to benefit servicemen in need. Later a Madam Guerin from France was visiting the United States and learned of this new custom started by Ms.Michael and when she returned to France, made artificial red poppies to raise money for war orphaned children and widowed women. This tradition spread to other countries. In 1921, the Franco-American Children's League sold poppies nationally to benefit war orphans of France and Belgium. The League disbanded a year later and Madam Guerin approached the VFW for help. Shortly before Memorial Day in 1922 the VFW became the first veterans' organization to nationally sell poppies. Two years later their "Buddy" Poppy program was selling artificial poppies made by disabled veterans. In 1948 the US Post Office honored Ms Michael for her role in founding the National Poppy movement by issuing a red 3 cent postage stamp with her likeness on it.
Traditional observance of Memorial day has diminished over the years. Many Americans nowadays have forgotten the meaning and traditions of Memorial Day. At many cemeteries, the graves of the fallen are increasingly ignored, neglected. Most people no longer remember the proper flag etiquette for the day. While there are towns and cities that still hold Memorial Day parades, many have not held a parade in decades. Some people think the day is for honoring any and all dead, and not just those fallen in service to our country.

Free Ice Cream

Not a joke Wal-mart is giving away free ice cream on May 30th. Of course we have the ones that have been here since the company started and thinks things are good the way they are. I am liking the change and I look at this way, I still have a job to come to. Granted I don't like moving desk every 3 mths but they have ensured us that this is the last major change we do for a long while. My hrs are even going to change which I am excited about. I will be getting off earlier, but I will have to be here before the chickens even wake up. Again I think change is good. It keeps the monotony of this job exciting. I didn't realize how drained I had become without my church family. I had to teach the toddlers, which makes my whole week when I do. They are so full of life and love. I just want to let everyone know that LWCC River Valley has the best toddlers I know. They are very receptive of everything you teach. I love them sooooo much. I just wanted the parents and our pastors to know what a joy and honor it is to be placed in such position of teaching God's next spirit filled warriors. As a church we need to pray for our children daily or even more because they are growing up in such a fast paced, materialistic world. We need to keep them lifted up in following in God's steps. It just galls me to see what satan is doing to our nations children. We need to STAND UP and fight for what God has put in our possession to teach, to love, to cherish, OUR CHILDREN.

God's Memo

To: YOU
Date: TODAY
From: GOD
Subject: YOURSELF
Reference: LIFE

This is God. So I found this article this afternoon and here is why.
Eggs are traditionally connected with rebirth, rejuvenation and immortality. This is why they are often associated with Easter. On a more practical level? In the early Christian calendar eggs were forbidden during Lent. This made them bountiful and exciting forty days later. Easter eggs are sometimes decorated with bright colors to honor this celebration. Russian pysanki is one of the most elaborate forms. Conversely, the abstinence of eggs is associated with Lent.

"Eggs were colored, blessed, exchanged and eaten as part of the rites of spring long before Christian times. Even the earliest civilizations held springtime festivals to welcome the sun's rising from its long winter sleep. They thought of the sun's return from darkness as an annual miracle and regarded the egg as a natural wonder and a proof of the renewal of life. As Christianity spread, the egg was adopted as a symbol of Christ's Resurrection from the tomb. For centuries, eggs were among the foods forbidden by the church during Lent, so it was a special treat to have them again at Easter. In Slavic countries, baskets of food including eggs are traditionally taken to church to be blessed on Holy Saturday or before the Easter midnight Mass, then taken home for a part of Easter breakfast. People in central European countries have a long tradition of elaborately decorated Easter eggs. Polish, Slavic and Ukrainian people create amazingly intricate designs on the eggs. They draw lines with a wax pencil or stylus, dip the egg in color and repeat the process many times to make true works of art. Every dot and line in the pattern has a meaning. Yugoslavian Easter eggs bear the initials "XV" for "Christ is Risen," a traditional Easter greeting. The Russians, during the reign of the tsars, celebrated Easter much more elaborately than Christmas, with Easter breads and other special foods and quantities of decorated eggs given as gifts. The Russian royal family carried the custom to great lengths, giving exquisitely detailed jeweled eggs made by goldsmith Carl Faberge from the 1880's until 1917.

In Germany and other countries of central Europe, eggs that go into Easter foods are not broken, but emptied out. The empty shells are painted and decorated with bits of lace, cloth or ribbon, then hung with ribbons on an evergreen or small leafless tree. On the third Sunday before Easter, Moravian village girls used to carry a tree decorated with eggshells and flowers from house to house for good luck. The eggshell tree is one of several Easter Traditions carried to America by German settlers especially those who became known as Pennsylvania Dutch. They also brought the fable that the Easter bunny delivered colored eggs for good children. Easter is an especially happy time for children and many Easter customs are for their enjoyment. Hunting Easter eggs hidden around the house or yard is a universal custom and so are egg-rolling contests."
---Easter eggs, American Egg Board

"Because the use of eggs was forbidden during Lent, they were brought to the table on Easter Day, coloured red to symbolize the Easter joy. This custom is found not only in the Latin but also in the Oriental Churches. The symbolic meaning of a new creation of mankind by Jesus risen from the dead was probably an invention of later times. The custom may have its origin in paganism, for a great many pagan customs, celebrating the return of spring, gravitated to Easter. The egg is the emblem of the germinating life of early spring. Easter eggs, the children are told, come from Rome with the bells which on Thursday go to Rome and return Saturday morning. The sponsors in some countries give Easter eggs to their god-children. Coloured eggs are used by children at Easter in a sort of game which consists in testing the strength of the shells (Kraus, Real-Encyklop die, s. v. Ei). Both coloured and uncoloured eggs are used in some parts of the United States for this game, known as "egg-picking". Another practice is the "egg-rolling" by children on Easter Monday on the lawn of the White House in Washington."

I thought this was very interesting. I hope you do to.

Rebirth

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_KXe7mBoZRvI/SdpMCn8FM8I/AAAAAAAAAFQ/vBWsy2LjfI8/s320/Butterfly.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321649517656093634" />
I am so happy Spring is here. This is my favorite time of year. This is the time of year when we really can see God's beautiful creation at its finest. The rebirth of plants, trees, flowers, even animals. Only God could make such beauty. Imagine, if you can, could you have come up with the radiant rose on your own or the majestic oak tree, that blooms those gorgeous green leaves that change colors. I think not. It takes a mind that goes way beyond ours to come up with the beauty that we see around us. Oh yeah, I also like spring because its the best time for kayaking, hiking, and camping. The son replied, 'I do know!'Okay,' said his father. 'What does the Bible mean?' That's easy, Daddy...' the young boy replied excitedly,' It stands for 'Basic Information Before Leaving Earth.'
=======
There was a very gracious lady who was mailing an old family Bible to her brother in another part of the country. Is there anything breakable in here?' asked the postal clerk. 'Only the Ten Commandments..' answered the lady.
========
'Somebody has said there are only two kinds of people in the world. There are those who wake up in the morning and say, 'Good morning, Lord,' and there are those who wake up in the morning and say , 'Good Lord, it's morning.'
========
A minister parked his car in a no-parking zone in a large city because he was short of time and couldn't find a space with a meter. Then he put a note under the windshield wiper that read: 'I have circled the block 10 times. If I don't park here, I'll miss my appointment. Forgive us our trespasses.'When he returned, he found a citation from a police officer along with this note 'I've circled this block for 10 years. If I don't give you a ticket I'll lose my job. Lead us not into temptation.'\
========
There is the story of a pastor who got up one Sunday and announced to his congregation: 'I have good news and bad news. The good news is, we have enough money to pay for our new building program. The bad news is, it's still out there in your pockets.'
========
While driving in Pennsylvania , a family caught up to an Amish carriage. The ow ner of the carriage obviously had a sense of humor, because attached to the back of the carriage was a hand printed sign... 'Energy efficient vehicle: Runs on oats and grass. Caution: Do not step in exhaust.'
========
A Sunday School teacher began her lesson with a question, 'Boys and girls, what do we know about God?' A hand shot up in the air. 'He is an artist!' said the kindergarten boy.'Really? How do you know?' the teacher asked. the boy answered.'You know - Our Father, who does art in Heaven... '
========
A minister waited in line to have his car filled with gas just before a long holiday weekend. The attendant worked quickly, but there were many cars ahead of him. Finally, the attendant motioned him toward a vacant pump. 'Reverend,' said the young man, 'I'm so sorry about the delay. It seems as if everyone waits until the last minute to get ready for a long trip.'The minister chuckled, 'I know what you mean. It's the same in my business.'
========
People want the front of the bus, the back of the church, and the center of attention.
========
Sunday after church, a Mom asked her very young daughter what the lesson was about.
The daughter answered, 'Don't be scared, you'll get your quilt.' Needless to say, the Mom was perplexed. Later in the day, the pastor stopped by for tea and the Mom asked him what that morning's Sunday school lesson was about He said 'Be not afraid, thy comforter is coming.'
========
The minister was preoccupied with thoughts of how he was going to ask the congregation to come up with more money than they were expecting for repairs to the church building. Therefore, he was annoyed to find that the regular organist was sick and a substitute had been brought in at the last minute The substitute wanted to know what to play. Here's a copy of the service,' he said impatiently. 'But, you'll have to think of something to play after I make the announcement about the finances.'During the service, the minister paused and said, 'Brothers and Sisters, we are in great difficulty; the roof repairs cost twice as much as we expected and we need $4,000 more. Any of you who can pledge $100 or more, please stand up. 'At that moment, the substitute organist played 'The Star Spangled Banner.'And that is how the substitute became the regular organist!
=========
Give me a sense of humor, Lord,

Give me the grace to see a joke,

To get some humor out of life,

And pass it on to other folk.

God is a Great God-All the time

OK, I don't know how many of you knew, but satan really attacked our family last week. First Tony and I were real sick with some kind of virus, then our great newphew was born 4 weeks early and was put in NICU due to pneumonia and lungs underdelveloped, and Tony's cousin who he is real close too like a sister was put in hospital for losing blood and doctor's could not find out why. OK now the awesome God part. Of course we were healed quickly. The baby (Bryant Carson Collingsworth) we got word yesterday he is doing great and may go home sooner than they predicted. Now the most awesomest news, Jackie(Tony's cousin) they found out that she had no bone marrow that is was just gel. They ran several tests and we got the call last night that she has a very rare disease called Hairy Cell Leukemia, which is cureable with just a few chemo treatments. Ok I am crying with joy tears right now. satan comes to steal kill and detroy, God comes in gives life and to give it more abundantly.

"Too deep but needed to say"

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 242px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_KXe7mBoZRvI/ScAd5-FdkJI/AAAAAAAAAFA/a5Srx4FqREk/s320/Wilson+pic.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5314280442052841618" />
OK we had this great pep talk the other morning at our pep rally at work. It was about "Wilson". I hope some of you have seen the movie "Castaway". Wilson was the supporting actor in this movie and a great job he did. Anyway, we talked about the fear of the media bringing fear and hopelessness to people that listens to them. "Wilson" was OUR supporting actor in the pep rally. When Tom Hanks kicks him in the ocean and then loses him later in the movie, FEAR kicked in on him. So my point is "DON'T listen to man, only to God". The media is trying, and succeeding in some lives, to bring hopelessness, but perseverance and fervent prayer we can get through anything. I know this is deep, but it has been on mind a lot lately. We as Christians not only need to have hope but spread it to keep fear away from all others around us. "We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us." "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but power, love and a sound mind."

Busy Weekend

Hey everyone, hope all fellow bloggers had a great weekend. I sure did even though extremely busy. Run down on wknd. Friday night niece's baby shower(somehow became the host, not sure since I just showed up to take pictures). It's annual fishing classic and I finally found my pink camo soft tackle box and I got some more lures. I love fishing. Tony bought 1 lure and 3 pair of shorts. OK what is wrong with this, I bought no clothes. Then went to eat Los Cabos restaurant which is very good. He is sooooooo cute and I love him so much. He is named for the Manning brothers of football fame and yes his daddy is a coach in Van Buren middle school. But all Manning has to do is flash those baby blues and I melt and will do just about whatever he wants to do, especially playing on the trampoline with Aunt Belinda. He loves his cousin Eli they always have good time together. OK enough bragging everyone have a good day, but get ready I have another great nephew on the way should be here in April, his name is Bryant.

LWCC Youth

Something I forgot to mention on my last blog, is a great big THANK YOU to the youth at our church. I had a great time. It's so much fun to dress up and just have fun. What's great is that we can do it without all the worldly things that usually people have like wine, champagne or just any kind of drink. We can have fun just being ourselves, and that's what it's all about. We as Christians need to show the world that we do not need to compromise. And thanks to our pastors for a wonderful time, also to Marge and Arnie, and the wonderful story about the Eel Pout Festival.

My Beloved Husband

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_KXe7mBoZRvI/SZNLiHpLzBI/AAAAAAAAADw/nqJJc3yKI1E/s320/Flowers+from+Tony.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5301664235884629010" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_KXe7mBoZRvI/SZNLbKwi18I/AAAAAAAAADo/EAfLTJ_bMhQ/s320/Flowers+from+Tony2.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5301664116461721538" />
I just want to brag on my most wonderful and thoughtful husband that God Blessed me with. Thank You Father God for such a beautiful person as Tony.

GREAT WEEKEND!!!!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_KXe7mBoZRvI/SZC2D4nNBtI/AAAAAAAAADg/ZTKnBQxWyuo/s320/view+from+cabin+tinkiller" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5300936939267753682" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 236px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_KXe7mBoZRvI/SZC0mogF13I/AAAAAAAAADQ/J5DsG0NZlD4/s320/moon+%40+lake+tinkiller" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5300935337215121266" />
I and Tony had a great time this past couple of days, but our plans did get changed. We seen 6 deer, a red fox, 2 loons, 2 wild cats, and I guess the parks home dog which made his way around to every cabin. which the picture above is from our cabin one evening. It was beautiful. The reason is, because so many people told us that it wouldn't because of the circumstances that we were married under. But and I mean a BIG but, they did not count on God stepping into the situation. We were married February 04, 1990 and God entered our marriage Sept of 1990. Yes we have had our rolloacoaster ride in marriage like any other couple, but God ALWAYS seen us through. I am happier and more in love with Tony now than I ever have been, its great and awesome. We are best friends and we do alot together. We are rarely apart. I love him sooooo much that I can't imagine my life without him. We are going to Devil's Den and rented one of cabins for 3 days. Going hike, fish, hike some more and fish some more. We may take our kayaks with us to take out on the big pond they have. Everyone have Blessed week.

Oh what a weekend!

OK I told everyone Friday that we were going to Devil's Den and we did, and always it was beautiful. We went hiking on the Fossil Flats trail which is awesome because once you to the flats several rocks have these fossils in them. They are everywhere. Also Tony found this turquoise plastic clothes pin, and he said, "See even the Indians used clothes and in turquoise". I wonder about him sometimes. Then we came upon a tree that had a red bandanna on it and again Tony said see its an Indian tree. All in all it was a great hike.
We then decided to go to Lake Ft. Smith for the first time since they redone it and it was gorgeous. The visitor's center was done very well. like a mini museuem. Their campsites are very clean and well proportioned. They also have this lodge that sleeps 32 people and its huge.
Everyone have a great and Blessed week.

THIF

I really love Fridays. The energy, the anointing, the Glory of God all over our church.
My mother-in-law was slain in the Spirit for the 1st time, my son also slain has been very different in a great way, but now my husband Tony who was saying to himself I'm not going down, went down and not only but when we left church and went to Braum's he became drunk in the Spirit and was hilarious watching him trying to order a milk shake that ended up being one their blizzard's, and it continued till 1am in the morning. That saddened me very much in my spirit, because I know that my God does work with me daily, if he didn't no way that I could make it here in this type of business. This is a very hard unstable business to be in right now with the economy and the only reason I am still here is because of God. I pray daily for my co-workers and my place of business to be a striving place in this economy, and that has worked.
I started praying at the beginning of the year that God would open doors to new customers for us and He has. It said that I had a choice to make too.
I've chosen. Now it's your turn to choose.

The story goes that some time ago a mother punished her five year old daughter for wasting a roll of expensive gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and she became even more upset when the child used the gold paper to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree.

Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift box to her mother the next morning and then said, 'This is for you, Momma.'

The mother was embarrassed by her earlier over reaction, but her anger flared again when she opened the box and found it was empty.. She spoke to her daughter in a harsh manner, 'Don't you know, young lady, when you give someone a present there's supposed to be something inside the package?'

She had tears in her eyes and said, 'Oh, Momma, it's not empty! I blew kisses into it until it was full..'

The mother was crushed. She fell on her knees and put her arms around her little girl, and she begged her forgiveness for her thoughtless anger.

An accident took the life of the child only a short time later, and it is told that the mother kept that gold box by her bed for all the years of her life.

Whenever she was discouraged or faced difficult problems she would open the box and take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.

In a very real sense, each of us, as human beings, have been given a Golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, family, friends and GOD. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.

Friends are like angels who lift us to our feet, when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.

Christmas Trivia #4

Answers for yesterday are: The King of the Mice

The King of the Mice, usually represented with seven heads, leads his troops against the nutcracker's toy soldiers. We must not let the secular world take away our reason of celebrating this season. We as Christians must take our stand NOW to not let the media, Hollywood or anyone to tell us that we can't say Merry Christmas. There is more of us out there than the media knows, if we would just come together as one as a WHOLE church they would be defeated. So to everyone who reads this have a very Merry CHRISTmas and a BLESSED New Year.

Well another election has gone and past. We as Christians really need to rally together in one mind and one accord and pray for our new upcoming president. He can become a blood bought son of God if we continue to pray for our nation and leaders. This is our responsibility as a Church Body. We need to pray for wisdom and Godly choices for our nation. We need to continue to pray for President Bush also. He still is our commander in chief till January. As a politician if you even say the word God as in the one true God, then your against everybody. If only they would wake up listen to the percentage of believers out there, this whole thing would do the biggest flip flop anyone has ever seen. Wonder why God put in His Word, "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.2 Chronicles 7:13-15 . Not that bad though I get paid extra, so that's a good thing. Lord has really been dealing a lot lately with me on the Blood of Jesus. You know back in Old testament days when the priest went to the holy of holies he had to be covered with blood. He then went into ICU and on Aug. 09, 2008 he went on to be with Lord. Ward Keith, Jr. was born on Aug. 23rd, 1939. He started the Crawford County Horseman's Assocication, was an avid worker, never took vacations, and was the best grandfather to our son Eli. The most amazing thing was that at his funeral his son Chris Keith sang "Go rest high on the Mountain" and he personalized it to say Dad in some parts of the song. Please keep our family in your prayers through this trying time. Our son has had the hardest time ever realizing that he is not coming back. He was with him everyday of his life. But the Holy Spirit has been good to us in giving us peace and comfort. Thank You Father God for the gift of the Holy Spirit. May God Bless you all.

In Loving Memory of Craig McNelly!!!

Sorry it has been awhile have had a few obstacles lately. I am dedicating this blog to a very very dear friend of my family, Craig McNelly. He was an awesome husband to Carol, the best father to Ben, Becky, Zack, Caleb, and Christianna. He taught Tony and myself alot about our God and what Christianity really is. His final resting place is not in Witchita, KS, but in his new digs up above with our Lord Jesus Christ. As I said in the guest book, this is not good-bye, but "See ya soon my brother". Craig was also the most amazing salesperson for Kirby vacuums. He could sell you one of them even though you really didn't need it. If you are reading this Craig was only 46 yrs old and ready to meet the Lord. I hope you are. James 4:14 "whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. He had everyone in the congregation make a small O with one of their hands take it and put it up to one eye and look through it. Then take it down and look with both eyes. Sad that even as Christians we have tunnel vision where we only see what's in front of us and not what is surrounding us. We have to look at the whole picture. God is amazing just look at everything around us, from the simple things like a tree or the sunset, to the incredible technology that we have now to go any where in the world. So next time your outside look ALL around you, not just what's in front of you. Our God IS an awesome God!

Fun in the Sun

Last night our church rented the Alma Water Park for the church. I had to work, but Tony worked harder and it was more beneficial. He got to work in and around God's house. He came home exhausted but exilerated. We had a work day at our church and from what I hear it was great. Alot was accomplished. Go Ministries came and helped out with it also. Thanks to all for making our church a great place to be. Thanks to our Pastors Kevin and Susan Fletcher for a vision.

God is so great. Only God can make the beauty that surrounds us daily. Have you ever really looked at a butterfly. What an amazing creature! Now think about this, that very beautiful creature that you see before you it took an awesome journey to get that point. I know, I know some of you are thinking DUHHHH, its a caterpillar then Poof!!, its a butterfly, but it goes through a tremendous transformation. Just as Christians take that same transformation. We start out as caterpillars(Sinners), then we go into a cocoon(living of the world), then we transform into a beautiful creature(asking Jesus into our hearts). I don't know about you but I love being this beautiful creature that God has turned me into. I will never go back to my old life. I love people saying to me why are you so joyful. I can gladly say, "It's not me, it's Jesus." So next time you see a butterfly, think about the transformation you have been through or if you don't know Jesus Christ, just open the Holy Bible and read and you can transform into beautiful creature. We all have to take that journey of our FREE WILL and choose, don't choose wrongly, CHOOSE LIFE-CHOOSE CHRIST.
